Our speaker today was Charlie Goff, president of the Superstition Area Land Trust (S.A.L.T.). 
S.A.L.T. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational corporation that was formed to protect and preserve Arizona State Trust Lands bordering the southern slope of the Superstition Wilderness Area. Charlie told us about the trust's mission, accomplishments and goals, as well as the challenges it faces.

ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CLUB BUSINESS

1. Bob Benjamin presented a check in the amount of $2,250 that the club received for helping with the Lost Dutchman Marathon.
 
2. Len LaFlesch announced the following donations that the club has made to deserving organizations:
  • $1,500 to the Boys and Girls Club
  • $1,000 to RYLA
  • $1,000 to the Apache Junction Food Bank
  • $2,000 to Project Help
3. Harvey Clark announced that Infragard is hosting a Domestic Security Briefing at Talking Stick casino on June 4, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
