1. Harvey Clark announced the 2nd Annual Arizona Infragard golf tournament benefiting survivors of fallen FBI agents. It will be held Friday, May 16 at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs course. Harvey is now the person in charge of speakers for Infragard so he keep an eye out for speakers for our club.
2. Jim Erickson chewed out club members for such a low turnout for the District Conference which will celebrate Rotary achievements under the leadership of our own Jay Jones as District Governor. He urged us to get on the ball and be there for Jay. There is still time to sign up for the Conference which will be held at the Phoenix Squaw Peak Hilton near the intersection of HWY 51 and Glendale Ave.

3. Rotary volunteers will help unload USPS trucks bringing food to the AJ Food Bank. This will be on Saturday, May 10 from 2:30 to 5:30 PM at the AJ Food Bank.
4. The club voted for Kenneth R. Boyd as the Zone 26 candidate for the nominating committee for the 2016-17 RI President.
5. Len LaFlesch's son Jason and wife Jennifer who live in Gilbert will star in a new HGTV reality show dealing with flipping houses. The couple was selected because of their extensive experience in buying distressed houses and rehabbing them for profit called "flipping". The executive producer of the show met them through a mutual friend. The show is slated to air this summer.
6. Sandy Campbell won the drawing and $10 but drew the 9 of diamonds. The pot was worth $212.50 today and it will be going up again next week so get your tickets!
