Dorothy Homann visited on behalf of her husband, Bob, who passed away on August 16. Dorothy shared with us the memorial that she wrote for Bob. Bob will be sorely missed by the club.
The board announced that Tressa Rice's membership application has been voted on and approved. Welcome to the club, Tressa!
Michael Cowan reported on upcoming events planned by the Social Committee. Please put the following on your calendars:
- September 14 at 6:00 pm: Dinner at Pietro's, 9800 N. Summer Hill Blvd., Fountain Hills. Our newest member, Tressa Rice, will be singing there from 6:00 to 9:00.
- October 22: Halloween costume party at Brian Kabat's home.
- December 15: Christmas party at the Holmes' residence.
Brian Kabat announced that our annual dictionary project is coming up in October. He will have more details soon.
